In 2012 the NU Hotel in Brooklyn asked me to paint a mural in one of their rooms. Living in Park Slope at the time I painted what I love most about that part of NYC: the brownstones. With their own specific details and quirks they’ll always feel like people to me. So I guess you could call these all portraits.

The room is available to book here.

Of course, being 2012, my own photos aren’t the sharpest or most well lit… But I did make this very rusty time lapse YouTube video of the whole process. Enjoy!
